Yesterday, today and tomorrow look to be pretty full with speakers which means poduim shots. WHOO! Here is a sampling from yesterday before today starts.

Winner of the Golden Pen of Freedom which is an award given to someone fighting for the freedom of the press. This year it went to Najam Sethi, Editor-in-Chief of The Friday Times and The Daily Times in Pakistan.
Paul Jansen, CEO of SPH Search at Singapore Press Holdings, tells the World Newspaper Congress in Hyderabad how SPH rejected Google and built its own search service implemented across all its online platforms.

India's president, Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, is scheduled to make an apperance and speech today at the World Newspaper congress.
