Ever since 2008 this blog has been an amazing tool for me to share my vision with the world.
Last year I was lucky enough to start the "VISUALOGUE" a photo blog on the website of my paper, the Beacon-News as a way to share some behind the scene thoughts from my daily work.
Now, I'm happy to say there is one more avenue for me to clutter the visual word, "THE PLACES WE'VE BEEN," is a place for all of life's memories both from work and beyond. Check it out if you so feel motivated. If not, I'll see you on the other side...

Belated B-Day

A few from my excursions around the Fox Valley for America's Birthday Bash.

My coverage of the festivities kicked off with heat features and set up shots of Naperville's Ribfest which was held during one of the hottest weeks on record.
Next it was on to the parades... both Naperville and Aurora's parades were pretty well attended despite the heat and lack of shade.

NATO: Day 1

NATO came to town this past weekend and brought with it scores of protestors. My NATO weekend kicked off with a kite fest at Montrose Harbor. A few miles west a protest broke out in front of Mayor Rahm Emanual's house, but the big event was that night when protesters marched throughout the loop.
